Mignard’s painting is the focus of this year’s National Gallery Masterpiece Tour, visiting four UK venues including the Cooper Gallery.  Love, Power and Identity has been co-curated with Barnsley Museums’ youth group, Next Big Thing. The exhibition explores different styles of portraits over time and the contrasting stories of the sitters and the artists.
