Introducing Culture Companions

Culture Companions meet every Thursday in the Town Hall in Barnsley. They are a vibrant group from diverse backgrounds who share vast amounts of life experiences and love exploring new creative ventures. Combining creativity and cultural experiences, learning new things and making lifelong friendships. 

 

In this mini exhibition, founding member of the group, Ron, shares photographs of his journey to the group and his companions that make Thursday mornings special. Alongside this is a poem from Mary, one of the groups newer members. Mary has a talent for poetry, which has emerged as her confidence has grown. In Mary's words. "long may Culture Companions last."
