Exhibition - Post by Benny Watson

Discover Post, a new exhibition from artist Benny Watson exploring themes of identity, loss and renewal.

Created in the year following the death of his grandmother, Mel Dyke MBE, Watson uses old postcards and materials found in Mel's home to create bold new works. These intimate fragments offer a glimpse into memory and history amongst thick planes of oil and spray paint.

 

From Sat 9 May to Sat 31 Oct 2026, explore how Watson builds up texture with collage, fabric and paint, and experience how the scraps and fragments from the past are found, lost and rediscovered within his intense works.
