The Art of Dogs - Curator's Talk

Enter the fascinating world of our canine friends at The Cooper Gallery, Church Street, Barnsley, on Saturday, 8 February at 11am and learn what it took to bring their current Art of Dogs exhibition together.

Cooper Gallery supervisor, and curator of The Art of Dogs, Amanda Stoner, will talk about how the exhibition came about. The talk gives a glimpse into the history of our relationship with dogs seen through the works in the Cooper Gallery collection

Tickets are available from the Cooper Gallery reception and cost £5 each. Friends of the Cooper Gallery can get tickets for £3.

Run by Barnsley Council, the Cooper Gallery is a vibrant creative art-space in the heart of Barnsley town centre, with a regular programme of contemporary touring exhibitions and exciting events. The Gallery is also home to the Craft Showcase which features crafts and artwork for sale by regional and local artists as well as Impressions Coffee Lounge.
